Wall plastering still in process, meanwhile the workers built up both bathroom walls (red bricks) and embedded door frames. Sand has been transported to the top to prepare the cement topping for the roof around the skylight.
Last stretch of plastering. A few more beams and walls left and than the workers will add the last cement topping for the roof and the floors. Slow process but the results looks smooth.
Electricity lines have been embedded in the walls, now the rest of the walls inside/outside getting plastered.
Things move very slow after a week of new years break for the workers. Plastering corners/beams takes quite some time. Workers are attaching aluminum rails to all edges to make them straight. Looks neat but takes time… Meanwhile several building mistakes have been corrected in the pipe/sewage system. Lots of headaches but things move forward now. The electricity workers have laid the main electric grid throughout the house and we got the frames for the entrance door.
More cement & More plastering… Outside walls are now 50% done. Workers are off for a couple days to celebrate new year.
Some internal Walls are not done yet but the workers started with the plastering of the outer walls.
Exterior walls are done, leaving space for the window and door frames. Now the red bricks are used to build up the bathroom walls.
More bricks arrived. This time small red bricks which will be used for both bathrooms as they shield water better than Q-Con bricks.
Walls are slowly going up on the different floors. The double walls are build from lightweight Q-Con bricks with 10cm width, leaving another 10cm air-gap in the middle for insulation.
The workers build a rough scaffolding around the house with Bamboo poles. Now they take off a few days and than begin with the walls.
