Ground floor slab is done. Now a bamboo-steel frame is put up for the work on the second floor. Also lots of steel bending work ahead for the side beams of the second floor.

Day 66 – 23/07
Steel for the slab is done and cement for the ground level is being poured. We asked to add Polyethylene sheets under the slab which doesn’t seem to be common use for Thai builders but it will hopefully keep out any moisture around the slab.
Day 58 – 15/07
Sewage pipes installed for the ground floor and filled up with earth.
Next step now leveling & pouring the first slab for the ground floor.
Day 54 – 11/07
Ground floor columns done and drying…
Up next: first pipe installations for the plumbing system.
Day 52 – 09/07
Side beams have dried, some vary 2-3cms in width at some points which seems fine. Now columns are getting covered in wood panels and cement being poured. Rainy season striking with heavy downpours every day, cement drying very slow which seems to be a good thing.

Cement poured on side beams.
Day 44 – 01/07
Side beams all done & wood panels mounted for pouring cement.
