Day 12 – 30/05

Holes are finished! Some are exceeding size but barriers can be in place when pouring cement. F5 has been increased in size to match 2.6 x 2.6. Now the rebar needs to be strengthened.

All holes are their correct sizes with 40cm extra in some. Distances are correct but some dirt barriers are no longer there.

Day 8 – 26/05

Digging completed today! All holes appear to be in their correct places with the only issue being their size. The digger dug more than expected but overall the majority are correct.

image

This is the F3 holes measuring at 3.20 width and 3.75 length. The correct size is 2.6 x 3.75 so the digger made it too wide. He also left a dirt barrier in between the middle but that can easily be taken out. The workers will have to fill in the hole from the left side of it moving in by 0.6 mtrs.

image

These are the f2 holes. Notice they did not leave the 0.5 dirt barrier in the middle. They felt that this would make the dirt barrier too brittle. If necessary the workers can fill that in as well. It measures out to 1.5 width and 3.5 length. Again they will have to fill it in to make the hole less wide and more to scale.

This is the f4 hole, measuring at 2.5 x 2.4, slightly over the correct size of 2.4×2.4.

image

Finally this is f6 to the left measuring at 3.2×3.2 which is correct. There are holes from the previous digging that lead to f4 so those need to be filled as well.

Day 7 – 25/05

After today’s debacle everyone seems to be on board!
